How to manage stress at the workplace

Introduction

Job stress refers to the harmful physical and emotional responses that occur when the core competencies do not match the worker's capabilities, resources, or needs.

2. Negative Stress - Sometimes a challenge is turned into job demands that cannot be met. This is negative stress, or distress, which can be impacted both our health and our work and sets the stage for illness, injury, and job failure. Also, it brings a negative impact on employees as well as the organization.

  4. Following the COVID-19 epidemic, there are more people experiencing workplace stress, making your choice more valuable. Although stress can manifest in many different ways once it gets severe, reducing stress is always better than trying to manage it. The long-term effects of stress may lead to a much worse evaluation, including anxiety, sadness, and more physical ailments, like inflammation and cardiovascular problems.
One of the biggest problems is the stigma attached to discussing anxiety and psychological well-being. If companies take action and start creating effective networks for training, education, and support across the board, employees will start to feel less fear of reprisal for speaking up.
